This is one of several CDs that I bought for my Amazon parrot to listen to while either no one is at home or while people are too busy working to be interacting with her during her every waking hour (as she would prefer). She really enjoys listening to the CD and actively listens and makes bird cooing sounds back to the other birds. She gets more rowdy and worked up when she listens to the "Relax with Tropical Rain Forest" cd (not the enhanced version); however, it you want your bird to be entertained and not as loud, I would highly recommend this CD. It has two long tracks, and she seems to be equally engrossed in them. The CD has no music and is continuous sound.

This is an excellent source of entertainment for your pet parrots. I even enjoy listening to the CD on my own. The other CD I mentioned before isn't very soothing (however it by no means annoys or bothers me), and I wouldn't listen to it if it weren't for my parrot.

I love the way this CD sounds. There are such interesting types of birds on it that I haven't found on other rainforest and jungle CDs (of which I have quite a few). There aren't any chattering monkeys or sudden loud sounds, which is a plus for me. It is mainly very beautiful bird song and a brook for the first track, and a remote thunderstorm on the second track. I listen to this quite often!

It's nice stuff allright. More or less exactly what you'd expect. The birds sounds great. The only problem I have with it is that the two underlying sounds (water stream in track 1 and thunder in track 2) sound fairly contrived, like they were added in a studio.

If I could give it 3.5 stars, I would, but I don't think it's worth 4.

This CD is very enjoyable and relaxing. It's mostly bird sounds, nothing jarring. The thunder and rain on the second cut are a good addition.

I use this in class to teach my tai chi to. I find it so relaxing, I feel as if I am in the forest, which I love so much, especially when the weather here is so bad. It's unobtrusive, yet deeply affecting. I can't wait to return to Honduras.

I bought this CD for my Kindergarten class. We present a 'zoo' in our classroom for the public to view at the end of the school year. One of the habitats was the rain forest. I put the CD on in the background to add effect to the decorations and it was great. It really added to the presentation! Later, the kids also asked if they could listen to it during our rest time. There are two tracks--one with only animal sounds and the other with animals sounds and also rain falling. It's very peaceful and really gives the impression that you are in the rain forest.

I purchased this CD for my parrots, but I really enjoy listening to it as well. I highly recommend it.
