This review is from: The Sounds of French: An Introduction (Paperback)
If you are like me and have a desire to pronounce languages you study with little or no accent, or even to learn pronunciation rules over and above those published in "mainstream" courses and phrasebooks, this book is for you for French. It may cover aspects of pronunciation that the average tourist might not need to communicate, it does fill a gap for serious students of French. The only drawback is there is no CD, but if you are familiar with the basics of French pronunciation and sounds, this book will bring your skills to a higher level. Great book!
