Sounds Like Life To Me

I heard this song on the radio over the last few weeks and it had me wanting to buy it right away. I really, really wish that Darryl Worley's next album was available for purchase, but if waiting longer for the whole means getting more singles like this and Tequila on Ice then perhaps I should just shut up, wait, and enjoy the songs as they come.

Sounds Like Life To Me is a bit cold when you think about it. The singer is telling the tale of a friend that just fell off the wagon and is out at the local watering hole trying to drink his troubles away. The singer goes off to find his friend, finds him at the watering hole and asks what the problem is. As the friend lays out his problems the singers response is a fairly cold, "so what?" style 'Sounds like life to me.'

It may escape many, but the point is that life isn't easy and despite the abundance of little problems that all seem to add up and overwhelm the friend that life is still a heck of lot better than any alternative and still very much worth celebrating.
