5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Exquisite!
Wow, what a Masterpiece!!!
This is one of the Best CD's that OM Records has ever released. I've been a fan of OM Records for quite a while now, but this CD has made me an even bigger fan. This CD is mixed by Kaskade, and I must say the mix is absolutely suberb to say the least. The standout tracks are "It's Love" by Naked Music NYC, "What Can I Say" by Kaskade and...

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing for the most part
As a fan of Kascade and Naked Music (which one of the reviewers suggested similarities with) I thought that this would be a pretty good cd. I even spent the time listening to many of the sample tracks. I sprung for it - unfortuantely. The problem is the heavy programmed disco beat that permeates most of the non Kascade tracks. Boring and everything starts sounding...

This is one of the Best CD's that OM Records has ever released. I've been a fan of OM Records for quite a while now, but this CD has made me an even bigger fan. This CD is mixed by Kaskade, and I must say the mix is absolutely suberb to say the least. The standout tracks are "It's Love" by Naked Music NYC, "What Can I Say" by Kaskade and "Lovely" by Soulstice. However, the best track and my absolute favorite is the (now)Classic by Andy Caldwell "I Can't Wait". This entire CD is Good from begining to end and thats rare nowadays, because most CD's ONLY have a few good tracks thrown in the mix for good measure, but thats not the case with Sounds Of OM 3rd Edition. If your a True Lover of House then this is a must have your collection......

this cd is a combo of beautiful vocals and groovy beats from some of OM's best. ...i must say it is well worth the money spent. it's great to listen to any time and any where, in the car or at home chillin, and is sure to impress your friends, ... there are quite a few songs with vocals, and a lot of the time that can ruin a cd. in this cd's case, the vocals are done right, and they serve as a pleasant addition to the mix. i highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys downtempo jazz-influenced music. 5 STARS BABY!!

All in all an excellent mix cd. Great selection of deep house tracks. Nothing spectacular in the mixing but just smooth, quality tracks. If you like Mark Farina's house mixes, Mark Grant, Miguel Migs etc., you will like this CD.

Ryan Raddon has unleashed a true work of art with this one, and some of the finest work on the OM label is on display here.

Beginning with an excellent take on Naked Music NYC's "It's Love" through Soulstice's mesmerizing rework of "Fall Into You", this set will keep you smiling from top to bottom. If deep house is your thing, then this set belongs in your collection.

Boring and everything starts sounding similar as it all wilts under a too heavy hand. This is far fron Meigs' Naked Music so be forwarned. There are far better and more interesting compliations out there.

As good as the first sounds of om (i.e., unbelievable). recommended highly if you like derrick carter or the san francisco house sound (e.g., migs, naked music - although for some reason lately they've been claiming they're not from sf - iz, etc) check this out. or just check it out anyways.

oh yeah, don't know who you are kaskade, but if you're reading this...NICE JOB!
