Great modern Christmas album, December 15, 2006
This review is from: Sounds of the Season the NBC Collection (Audio CD)
I always reach for this album when I want to listen to something Christmas-y, but am sick of all the traditional songs. This album has a nice mix of new Christmas songs and new takes on old ones. I particularly like the ones by Harry Connick, Jr. and Dido. I scoffed at it when my husband brought it home, but once I listened to it, I loved it. Actually, I'm listening to it write now and it inspired me to buy a few albums by some of the artists.

All time favorite Christmas CD, January 18, 2010
I actually had this CD previously, but during a move it went missing. I was absolutely thrilled when I found it on Amazon and was able to get a new copy. This is my All Time Favorite Christmas CD! I love having a cd with different artists and this one helped me discover a new one, at least she was new to me. Racheal Yamagata has an awesome version of "The River" on here.
