Book Description

This collection of delicious paleo recipes offers substantial, flavorful, healthy, nutritious, and well-balanced soups that are extremely satisfying and wonderful. You'll find that the flavor combinations of these soups stand up brilliantly to the soups that typically and traditionally contain grains and flour.

New to the paleo way of eating or not finding enough great tasting recipes? The diversity of flavors and ingredients found in the recipes of this book will help keep you happily on the paleo track. A step beyond just "paleo-tizing" familiar soups, these recipes truly taste delicious and can easily be served to non-paleo friends and family who will find them delicious too.

Food should taste great no matter what dietary constraints influence the ingredients! One bite of any of the healthy soups made from the paleo and gluten free recipes contained in this book and you will have long forgotten anything you ever knew called pasta, rice, roux, croutons, corn, beans etc. There simply is no need for ingredients such as these in order for a soup to be amazing.

Inspired by flavors from all around the world, some of the recipes included in this book are old favorites reinterpreted for the Paleo, Primal, and Gluten-free dietary preferences and others are bound to be new favorites. The majority of the recipes in this book are dairy free as well. Occasionally, when a recipe calls for a dairy ingredient, it will be listed as optional or an alternative will be suggested.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great low carb soups February 12, 2013

I just downloaded this book. It was a free daily kindle and looked interesting. It is great because there are delicious soups that aren't loaded up with carbs like rice and noodles and potatoes. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want the Moroccan Spiced Chicken soup tonight, or the Garlic Chorizo with Kale..yum!

Some yummy recipes. And very easy. The paleo diet (not a diet, but a way of life) is pretty easy. I love soup, so it's nice to have some ideas.

2.0 out of 5 stars A bit too much for regular home cooks January 13, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Recipes look good and very eclectic, but not the kind of recipes you can just whip up. Not everyone has grass fed butter on hand either.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great new ideas January 28, 2013

One of the things I have been struggling with my new diet ... anti-inflammatory diet ... to deal with my AST liver elevation is the lack of soups. I used tomatoes & beans in all my favorite soups. These recipes give me new soups options! I look forward to trying several and finding new favorites! I love the Rutabaga & Leek Soup with Bacon. That was so yummy! Definitely a new favorite. My husband is not a big fan of creamed/blended soups but said this one was a keeper!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tried a few soups, Loved 'em! January 28, 2013

We had the Roasted Cauliflower Puree with Ham this week. Super simple prep and very tasty - the flavors are surprisingly complimentary and ready in no time! The Seafood Gumbo is a real treat as well. Looking through the table of contents (on page 1 - not sure what the other reviewers issue was) we're excited to keep eating new tasty soups til the weather turns warm. An excellent compliment to the 17 Salads from the same series - Salad: 17 Indispensable Recipes for the Paleo, Primal and Gluten-Free Inclined (17Recipes.com Series of eBooks)

As with the other 17 Recipe e-books, this one is filled with great recipes for delicious soups! We eat a lot of soup during the winter months, so I find I'm constantly turning to it for new inspiration for a cozy soup-by-the-fireplace meal.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wow! for these soups.
Lots of easy nutri-bullet friendly recipes. The avacado crab (I use shrimp, too) is delicious. We love cold soups and many of these can be eaten hot or cold.

3.0 out of 5 stars Soup: 17 Recipes for the Paleo, Primal, and Gluten-Free Inclined...
An eclectic collection of soups...some are of no interest as I am sure the case will be with most people. The meatball one is going to be the one I try.
