The Sour is Sweet, February 23, 2005
This review is from: Sour Suite (Audio CD)
How can something so beautiful come from those depths of pain? I wish it were something in the water, but let it be said that this record is REAL music for REAL people who feel REAL things. Check your attitude at the door, you're in for the night with this one. It almost makes one happy to be sad. Sheer beauty, no matter how acidic or cutting the emotions might be. "Tennessee Waltz" is especially engaging. Brilliant.

Rock and roll is appealing to Little Poomba, but not Big Poomba! I enjoy this album. Great tunes, Big Poomba pleased with production and stars.
I would reckon-mend this to Little Poomba, but not Big Poomba, BP already listened and has no money.
But anyone else who likes the rock and The Rock, I would definitely reckon-mend this to you. They are better than the Strokes and the White Stripes.
