The Source for Autism,
By Carolyn G. Payne (Plattsburgh, NY United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Source for Autism (Paperback)
This is an excellent resource for teachers and service providers of children with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. It is also parent-friendly. Diagrams and non-technical explanations are given along with the professional jargon. I believe it would help parents sort through the terminiology that we educators toss around rather freely sometimes. . ..It not only reviews PDD's but provides sample annual goals to meet the specific needs of affected children. It is a good comprehensive book at a reasonable cost. This book lives up to its name. I had the opporutnity to browse through it and decided it would be a good addition to my own library.
