5.0 out of 5 stars Great supplement
I know that it is ill advised to recommend any supplement or vitamin for any particular ailment but having been a user of this cherry extract for several months I can truly say it has, without a doubt, had a definite effect on lessening the aches and pains in the joints. 1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
After reading the reviews for this product, I was cautiously optimistic that it would alleviate at least some of my knee pain due to arthritis. I have taken the maximum dosage - two pills three times a day - for almost a month now and can see no improvement or change at all. I am disappointed, but not terribly surprised. Perhaps if I were to continue to use it for...

I know that it is ill advised to recommend any supplement or vitamin for any particular ailment but having been a user of this cherry extract for several months I can truly say it has, without a doubt, had a definite effect on lessening the aches and pains in the joints. Getting a little older and began noticing more joint pain and stiffness upon arising in the morning or even after prolonged periods of sitting. This supplement has helped a great deal and the pain and stiffness are all but gone. I will continue to use and recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Almost as good as Michelle's Miricle for Managing Gout, August 15, 2009

Michelle's Miracle cherry pills seems to be out allot. I have tried many different brands of cherry pill's here on Amazon and these ones are 2nd best to Michelle's Miracle in regards to prevention of gout.

Michelle's Miracle's are more expensive though. So I use these pills on a daily, routine basis and the Michelle's Miracle's when I start to feel a gout flare up. Seems to work well if your watching your $$.

Since I can't run a double blind study on myself you will just have to take word for it: this stuff works because it seems to reduce inflamation significantly. When I don't take it for a while (I'm occasionaly undisiplined and don't take my medicine) I have difficulty removing my wedding ring (joint inflamation) which is my test for the level of the inflamation in my body. When I take this product my inflamation and joint pain is reduced, as are the number of ghout (the most hated 5 letter worg in the English Language)

attacks I have. This product works for me. It takes a few days to feel the max effect. This company sends it out as soon as you order it and believe me the price is excellent. As far as I know it has no side effects and can be taken with other meds.I'm 65 years old and am playing golf again. If you consider the cost and side effects of aspirin and those nasty NAISDS you get over the counter this stuff is worth a go. Fore!!!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Happy customer, February 22, 2011

In the mornings, I had been experiencing severe pain in my feet for more than six months; occassionally waking me up at night. I spoke with my doctor, ran some blood tests and discovered I have high uric acid. I had read dark cherry extract could help reduce uric acid levels; my doctor also believed this to be true. My doctor said the best way to obtain the benefit is (obviously) eating the raw dark cherries. I am not a fan of cherries and thought I would try a supplement before forcing myself down the other path.

I purchased a small bottle of a competing brand locally almost two months ago. I have not had pain since three days after taking the dark cherry extract supplement. Since then, I have purchased the Source Naturals Cherry Fruit extract with the same results and reduced cost. YMMV, but I am very happy with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent to keep the pain in my hand under controll, January 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Source Naturals Cherry Fruit Extract 500mg, 180 Tablets (Health and Beauty)
This product is excellent for keeping the arhrtitis I have in my hands from taking over my life. As long as I take this product I can go on doing what needs to be done. If I stop for several days the pain in my hand becomes so severe that I have to start taking Anti inflammatory agents and they make me ill.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW! This Was Like a Miracle!, October 3, 2010

I got this product for a friend after watching him suffer with intense pain during two gout flare-ups. Going to the urgent care and pain meds did absolutely no good. I researched, found these, and within 24 hours, his pain had significantly subsided. Within 48, it was almost 100% great. This, after crutches and not being able to even walk. Needless to say, I'm thrilled it worked. He is beyond thankful to have a product that balances the bodily acidity so quickly and get rid of the problem. From now on, at the first sign of pain (in addition to good nutrition), he'll take these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprised at the results, November 7, 2011
This review is from: Source Naturals Cherry Fruit Extract 500mg, 180 Tablets (Health and Beauty)
After being told by two orthopedic surgeons that I need a 'reverse shoulder' operation I started taking Cherry Fruit Extract along with a prescription non-inflammatory medication that hadn't previously helped much. After two or three days the improvement is marked. I am 75% better and am not going to consider surgery at this time. Other body aches and pains have also diminished. I am 79 years old and the idea of facing radical surgery was daunting. Am excited to tell others about this product, and will go off the Rx medication soon and see what happens.

After reading so many positive reviews on this product I decided to give it a try. I have had gout for over 10 years now and there are times when I cannot stand or put any weight on my foot during a flare up and the pain is immense.

When I initially started using this product, I did notice I felt better, however after a few days I started to get pains in my chest/abdomen after taking these pills. I am not sure if I am just too sensitive or something, but it no longer makes my feet feel any better or anything. I have even tried taking 2 - 3 pills at once like some people on here have mentioned, and still no relief.

I am not saying this product does not work, just saying it doesn't work for me (at least not after the initial usage).
