I bought this for myself because I was afraid to take glucosamine due to my shellfish allergy. I really wanted to take this product, but after only 2 days I was in distress, having asthma, I couldn't figure out why my breathing was so labored. Upon looking up the specs on this product, I saw where it does cause asthmatic episodes. So, my husband, suffering also from RA started taking it. Within a week he was in considerably less pain. I decided to try the glucosamine, anyhow and it worked for me without complications. Regardless of why I could not take this product, it did still work for my husband. Incidentally, it gave my mother headaches. So, it is more or less a trial and error thing. If you CAN take it, it works, if not, use glucosamine. |
