My husband and mother use this brand of Sam-E and have for years. It is consistent in strength and priced just right. Sam-E really works for my husband's chronic depression and helps a lot with my mother's dementia related depression. The price is right on Source Naturals and although I did try some other brands, they didn't work as well or any better.

I got this to ease some joint pain (knee), and to my surprise within a week of taking it as directed, the pain was noticeably less. I was able to do the gym routine with no stiffness in the joints during the workout. It helps with stiffness in joints in general, with or without pain.

A pleasant surprise- I will continue to use SAM-e.

I tried this after reading lots of reviews, on the off chance that it might help ease my symptoms of depression.

It did, with no side effects. Absolutely worth a shot for symptoms of mild depression.

This supplement has brought me back to life. I was allways tired and slept a lot.
The med took about 6-7 days to start working.
I don't have an artificial wakefulness,just awake and more alert.
My physician had no problem with me trying it and I would recommend that you speak to your physician first.

I've had a noticeable improvement in mood since I started taking SAMe. These tablets work great, my only complaint is that they are a little large and somewhat difficult to swallow.

SAMe is one of the many nutritional supplements that drug companies don't want you to know about. Through the FDA, the drug oligopoly (oligopoly, because the drug companies control the American drug market, which is why you can't legally import less expensive prescription drug medications from outside the US, and you can't buy many non-prescription non-drug medications inside the US) would like to ban SAMe because it's so effective. But then, they tried to ban Vitamin C, too. If you have depression, read up on SAMe. It might be right for you.

I tried this based on the recommendation of a friend. At first I felt some intestinal cramps but after a couple of weeks my body adjusted. In addition to the benefits the other reviews mentioned, I found that my sleep has improved. I had peri-menopausal insomnia (trouble falling asleep and waking up at 4am) for about 8 years, but since taking SAMe for the past 2 months I fall asleep within 10 minutes of reading and wake up naturally after 7 hours, fresh and alert. I take 2 400mg right when I wake up on an empty stomach and don't ingest anything for 45 minutes.

I started taking Sam-e 200 mg and it really helped my mood and mild depression. My husband got me the 400 mg when I ran out of the 200 mg. I started getting really bad stomach pain an hour after taking it. At first I just thought it was the flu but I read up on the Sam-e website and it can really upset your stomach with higher doses.

SAMe was recommend to me to help the November blues. I had been on it about a month now and have seen that it really helps. Methionine, is good a balance body PH, helps improve urinary track and helps rebuild your liver. So it's doing well for me.

Brand is as good as any other known brand. Lot's more milligrams and tablets for the buck.
