My family and I use this. I have a sensitivity to salicylates and it's hard to find straight Vitamin C with nothing else added. This product is JUST powdered ascorbic acid, nothing else. No benzoates or rose hips (which have salycilic acid). As to the efficacy of the product, I trust that it's good quality, although I have nothing to back this claim up. Although: I have been using it for several months this winter and have been cold and flu free... that is until i stopped using it. I am in the midst of trying to get rid of a sinus infection/cold now. Lesson learned. My advice is, be consistent with dosages.
