Book Description

November 1, 2005
When recently asked about his years of prospecting, Daniel S. Janik said, "Yes, I was ultimately successful and discovered gold -- a golden thread running throughout my life -- my friendship with Ted and my writing." Dan's bedtime fairy tales of the far North are a new breed of oral tales, told and retold around campfires - now developed into complete stories. Sourdough Scott's Bedtime Fairy Tales From Alaska are pure pleasure, for you, your friends, your children, and their children's children. They are Dan's heartfelt gift to the precious, childlike, explorer-pioneer inside of all of us - himself included!

5.0 out of 5 stars Otter Girl interesting!!, August 3, 2006

This review is from: Sourdough Scotts' Bedtime Fairy Tales From Alaska (Mass Market Paperback)
This story helps the society for improving English.

"Otter Girl" is not difficult to read, but it is not easy either. I learned a lot of new vocabularies by reading "Otter Girl". I am glad that I could improved my English skills.

Also this story is very interesting, the girl was looking for her dream prince long time, usually people won't do same thing as her, and she met the prince. It tells us that we shouldn't give up anything so easily.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wolf and Moon, August 3, 2006
This review is from: Sourdough Scotts' Bedtime Fairy Tales From Alaska (Mass Market Paperback)
I would think that, a problem between the young man and the maiden, was not going well being together. And I guess so many people in the world having almost same problem as them. And this problem in the story was solved by changed from human being, the young man changed to wolf and the maiden changed to the moon, and both felt their loneliness and also thought [I should have been nice with her/him], and finally when they wake from a dream, they after all go well together. I think this story contains the idea of everything can be changed in better way.

And as I could read, this story is good for children, for English grammar and vocabularies, also good stories, are good English learning for about 5-10 year-old English native speaker children, and good for 15-20 year-old children Foreign English speaker.
