I purchased all 7 continent books for my first grade classroom. I feel like the set up of the book is good for young children and they are readable and useful up to 3rd grade. Our sixth grade buddies did enjoy reading the books with their partners. The information seems appropriate for the level of the text. They are small and easy to handle. Overall, they seem to be a good resource for the introduction of different geographic areas, people, and even a springboard for a little culture study. They also show some text features that are good examples for students learning about tables of content, indexes, and labels.
