5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty & Healthy
These SBD protein bars are very tasty for a protein bar. They're like a dense rice-crispy treat with cinnamon icing holding things together. I think they're perfect for a healthy snack, energy during a longer workout, or if you eat two of them with a piece of fruit, a very good light meal. 3.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware
These bars are tasty and low calorie, but beware... the "New" bars with the orange "Protein Fit" label are really lower in protein than the bars they replaced. These new bars have 8 grams of protein (15% of Daily Value) and the old bars had 10 grams (20%). Pretty sneaky! Not a huge difference, but very disappointing. That's probaby why the box says "NEW LOWER PRICE."...

These SBD protein bars are very tasty for a protein bar. They're like a dense rice-crispy treat with cinnamon icing holding things together. I think they're perfect for a healthy snack, energy during a longer workout, or if you eat two of them with a piece of fruit, a very good light meal. They have about 10 grams of protein each, which is really good considering they're only 35g bars. They also have a good deal of fiber, are low in sugar, and have very little fat. They are smaller than many other protein bars, so bear in mind that they are NOT meal replacement bars unless you eat more than one of them.

That's probaby why the box says "NEW LOWER PRICE." They can afford to do that since they cut out some of the protein!

5.0 out of 5 stars All diet food should taste this delicious!, May 11, 2011
This review is from: South Beach Living, Protein Fit, Cereal Bars, Cinnamon Raisin, 5-Count Bars (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty)
Car trips and long days at work were difficult to survive before I found South Beach's Protein Fit & Fiber Fit bars. They've recently been discontinued by my grocery store; if I have to order them from Amazon, then so be it - I'm not living without them!

Thiis is too expensive. At this price it averages about 3.60 per box. You can get them at wal-mart for around 2.50 amd every now and then Meijers puts them on sale for 2.00 per box and Wal-Mart will match the price. I was hoping to get a better deal at Amazon.

I was signed up for auto shipment through Amazon.com and now it seems as if the South Beach protein bars are not available? Hello???? What is happening here? Not happy that I received no notification.

5.0 out of 5 stars skinny people like this kind of food, November 6, 2010

I noticed sometime ago that some skinny people like to exercise and they seem to enjoy eating food that is good for them. That's the kind of skinny person I want to be. Not the kind that suffers through jogging sessions or meager portions. This is pretty darn good food in adequate portions and makes a great meal after a long, relaxing bike ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars Snack Option, December 20, 2008
This review is from: South Beach Living, Protein Fit, Cereal Bars, Cinnamon Raisin, 5-Count Bars (Pack of 4) (Health and Beauty)
These 140 calorie bars are a yummy snack or a between meal item to keep you from pigging out on something with far more fat/calories. The cinnamon raisin flavor is full of sweetness, almost like a candy bar but guilt free with protein and vitamins. One is plenty, especially with a hot calorie-free beverage to hold a dieter over until the next meal. I have these at home all the time plus in my purse for 'snack attacks'!

These are good for a quick morning meal, and the high protein count actually keeps you from getting hungry most of the morning. The cinnamon raisin is my favorite flavor.

I regularly use South Beach Living's Protein Fit bars as a partial supplement to my low carb diet. They are afforable, tasty and have some of highest protein content of non-Atkin bars. I order them through Subscribe & Save, so I get them regularly. They have just become part of my eating lifestyle.

I am in my car often for business. I keep a box in the car, and eat a bar, rather than stop into a fast food restaurant.
