This review is from: South Bend Bait Aerator (Blistered) (Sports)
I chose this aerator based on the South Bend name. It was a name I associated with quality in the past. I was mistaken though, this is a horribly poor quality product. The case is very poor quality plastic that almost looks like it was left out in the hot sun and deformed in places. Open the cover to put in the batteries and the on/off switch falls out. There is nothing to actually hold the switch in place except the cover. It looks like it was supposed to be some kind of pressure fit in the case, but it doesn't even come close to being held in place. It runs on one battery, with room for a spare which you will need. I got about 4 hours out of a brand new high quality battery. The battery power must go into making noise, since it is very noisy. It surely doesn't go toward air generation which is significantly less than the no name aerator that I dropped in the lake.
