These do not work at all. The clamps won't hold your pole for trolling. Tried to hard mount to boat and the swival won't hold the pole for trolling. Total waste of money.

I've bot them not on amazon. Threw away. Very cheap made, soft metal. Cannot hold even 6'6" rod. I can easily bend them in my hands. Totally wasted money.

This rod holder does what it's supposed to do and is quite reasonable when compared to other similar products...I had to bend it somewhat to conform to the boat (not a problem)...this is basically a "no frills" simplistic solution to fishing poles bouncing all over your boat!
