Not well made,

I have one of these holders. The shaft that goes into the ground is made of soft metal. The point on the shaft will bend. You will have to grind a new point if you want the holder to work properly. If you are using this holder in sandy soil with out any rocks it will be okay. Add an extra lock washer to the wing nut to keep the system tight.

I find it a little cumbersome for my usage. It is a bit heavy with all my other gear especially when I want to use more than two. I don't especially like the two pieces.

If you use more than one rod, this is a very helpful item. Yes, one could make one if you are a welder and have a workshop. I am not/ do not.
