Depends on what you are looking for,

This Insight Guide has beautiful pictures and wonderful cultural information, but almost none of the essentials. If you are doing a sightseeing trip to Korea, this should NOT be your only book. Practical information such as hotels, restaurants, and smaller sights is absent.
This is a great book for learning a bit of Korean history and culture but very impractical for traveling in the country. I bought this and the Moon guide and hardly every cracked this one while sightseeing.

This is a good book if you just want to have a little review on Korea history and culture. If your looking for something like the Eyewitness travel guides which this book sort of claims to be, look some where else. Its has beautiful pictures and it does have a little bit about places and such, but it is 3/4 historical and cultural information.
So if you want a quick easy glossy overview on history, culture and a little bit about local sights, this is the perfect book. If your looking for a South Korean guide book, then steer clear of this and look some where else.
