Great story and well written. When will he write his next? Can't wait.

What a fun book to remind me of me time in Samoa. Spent two years in Samoa and another year in American Samoa. This books accurately hits on the geographic connections from L.A, Auckland and the islands. Great job. If there were more Samoan contemporary fiction novels, I would have something to look forward to on island time.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. I feel I could write somewhat of a history lesson on the island itself now! It was a fun thriller and I took a great deal of knowledge away w/ me about the region itself and the general culture. I certainly googled the Samoan area when I finished the novel. Fast read.

This is a truly exciting political thriller set in a part of the world, Samoa, that is largely neglected in both fact and fiction. The author clearly has an insider's knowledge of the region, which definitely adds to the atmosphere. In addition to a compelling plot with fully developed characters, the book is also extremely well written in a style that is both direct and literate. Enjoyed it from start to finish and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys politics, thrillers, or just good books.

Loved this book, the story unfolded really nicely. I could picture all the characters in my mind almost as if I was seeing a movie. As a big fan of Survivor reality show as well it was nice to picture up a little history in an area that I had not previously explored. Would like to see more from him.
