5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite episodes, April 20, 2005

This review is from: South Park, Vol. 06: Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo/Tom's Rhinoplasty [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Of all the episodes of "South Park" I have seen, my two favorite episodes have been "Mr. Hankey" and "Tom's Rhinoplasty". I have never laughed so hard in my entire laugh (other than seeing the South Park movie) as I have during "Mr. Hankey". In "Mr. Hankey", Christmas time has arrived in South Park. Everyone is celebrating the festive holiday except for Kyle and his family because they are Jewish. Kyle immediately feels alienated from his friends because he is Jewish. Later Kyle's mom gets all PC and becomes offended by the Christmas decorations. She manages to convince the town mayor to take down all the Xmas decorations and change the school's Xmas play into some non-denominational play that has no references to the Christian holiday. IF that was funny enough, during the town meeting Kyle mentions Mr. Hankey, the talking poo. Of course he gets laughed at. The results is this hilarious song in the bathroom w/Mr. Hankey which I can never tire of watching. My personal favorite moment in the episode is when Cartman starts singing about Kyle's mom but not in a good way. It definitely gets the biggest laughs from me. In the episode "Tom's Rhinoplasty", Mr. Garrison goes in and gets a nose job. While he is gone, the kids gets a substitute teacher named Ms. Ellen. Stan (and the rest of the boys) develops a crush on her but it turns out that she is a lesbian. Non-stop laughs in that episode. I loved it when the boys were literally munching on carpets in order to become lesbians. I never tire of watching these two particular episodes. They are absolutely too funny and a reminder of the brilliance of Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Thank heavens for those two to make fun of everything and everyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars HIIIII-DEEEE-HO!, September 21, 1999

This review is from: South Park, Vol. 06: Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo/Tom's Rhinoplasty [VHS] (VHS Tape)
After all these years growing up with all those sappy Xmas TV specials (each one introducing a new character to the Santa Claus mythos), Parker & Stone have done the new Xmas character to top all Xmas characters -- Mr. Hankey! Just as you can never watch The Muppet Show the same way after "Meet the Feebles", you can never sit through another Xmas special after Mr. Hankey.

Mr. Hankey has also found himself at the center of a controversy; John Krisfaluci (of Ren & Stimpy) was threatening to sue Parker & Stone claiming Mr. Hankey was a ripoff of his character, "Nutty the Talking Turd". Think about it... two grown men (and their production companies) in a legal fight over a cartoon talking turd. Who says South Park is so off the wall?

Two great shows... Kyle faces the disadvantages of being a Jew at Christmas in a witty musical episode about a Christmas Poo!

A look at the better side of homosexuality as Cartman strives to become a Good Lesbian eating boxes and licking the rug clean!

This review is from: South Park, Vol. 06: Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo/Tom's Rhinoplasty [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The first episode is mr. hankey the christmas poo. If your tired of the same old christmas specials then you should see the southpark christmas. It is the best southpark episode ever made. The second is toms rhinoplasty which is a very good 8/10 valentines episode in which the boys try to become lesbians (not knowing what lesbians are) to impress the new supply teacher. It is very funny watching the boys licking carpets to make them self lesbians!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome., January 20, 2000
This review is from: South Park, Vol. 06: Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo/Tom's Rhinoplasty [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I've been trying to compare which is better out of Tom's Rhinoplasty or Mr. Hanky.... but I came up with with equal. They are both entertaining, funny, cool and are worth the money. The videos from South Park are excellent - I strongly recommend if you are a fan of this and other volumes to also go and buy the film a.s.a.p. - it tops it all off with its excellence!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must see with Mr. Hankey - the Christmas Poo!, February 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: South Park, Vol. 06: Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo/Tom's Rhinoplasty [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I particularily loved the Mr. Hankey Christmas Poo episode. I think he's the sweetest, funniest poo around - even thought he represents what most people wouldn't consider "sweet"! Sometimes he's greenish brown or brownish green but he does appear to be brown to me. I adore his Christmas attire (& the shower cap/toothbruse outfit too) but mostly his personality "HOWDY HO, KYLE"!!

On a different note, you can't miss hearing the vocal cords when Cartman sings a song about Kyle's mom!!

As for the other episode - Tom's Rhinoplasty, where Mr. Garrison gets a face lift & ends up with David Hasselhof's face, I didn't think this one was as good as the X-mas Poo!

5.0 out of 5 stars It was sssuper (as Big Gay Al would say), January 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: South Park, Vol. 06: Mr. Hankey, The Christmas Poo/Tom's Rhinoplasty [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This episode is mainly about talking poo (Mr. Hanky, who else?) We especially liked song.... "Mr. Hanky the Christmas poo he loves me and I love you... sometimes he's nutty sometimes he's fresh... sometimes he's brown or greenish brown..." If you like the song you'll like the movie if you don't like the song you'll like the movie... Basiclly I'm trying to tell you this movie is "sssuper".
