About the Author
Darla is the creator of the Cat Detectives, a wholesome, animal friendly series for kids aged seven and up. She travels around the nation for book signings and as a featured speaker at libraries, writers' groups and grade schools. In addition to being a children's author, Darla has written, performed and recorded her original music. In 2005, she made her singing debut to a major audience where she performed before over 7,500 people in concert as the opening act for country legend Willie Nelson.

My daughter read A South Sea Adventure, the most recent book in the Cat Detectives series. She is ten and she absolutely loved it. This writer has wonderful, wholesome books--and my daughter's read all of them. I recommend any of her books wholeheartedly.
