I wanted to find a nice storage unit for children's DVDs and this was narrow enough for a small room. The Styrofoam got everywhere and was messy to clean up. As I was putting this together, it didn't seem very sturdy. When it was completed, the only thing that kept this unit from falling apart was the backing with the nails--I used every nail to make sure it wasn't going anywhere. Although this bookcase fit nicely in the small area; I would not purchase this product again.
