I tend to rely on Amazaon ratings for purchases, so I hesitated a little when this changing table didn't have any reviews yet. The seller (Cymax) is new to Amazon too, which worried me a little. However, it was the style I wanted at the price I wanted, so I went ahead and ordered. And I'm glad I did... both the product and the seller are great!

PRO'S:
1) Color of wood: I would call it more of a Chestnut than Cherry, which I like. It has more of a brown hue than red.
2) Style: Kind of a Craftsman style
3) Durability: We just put it together last night, but it seems very solid. It is made of a lot of particle board (and some solid wood), but it's not your regular flimsy particle board... it's very heavy.
4) Size: It's a large changing table. The top piece holds the mattress pad and then there is another seperate section on top to hold regularly used items (wipes, comb, brush, etc).
5) Storage: There are 2 shelves provided for each door - so including the bottom fixed shelf, you have 6 shelves behind the doors.
6) Assembly: There are a lot of pieces, but the directions were much better than most and it went together easily (no pieces that didn't align). You'll need a hammer, a cordless screwdriver and a regular screwdriver to assemble.
7) It is made in Canada and not China! Huge pro in our household.
8) Future use: it could definitely be used as a dining room sideboard or an entry way piece down the road.

CON's:
1) The bundt feet are a heavy duty plastic. Although I don't foresee any issues with them, nor can you tell once it's in the room, I was a little surprised to see this. Wooden feet would have been nice.
2) The 'wood' panels in the two doors are not wood. They appear to be a heavy cardboard material with a wood grain pattern, surrounded by a wood frame. They look nice though... I had to feel them and look closely to tell they aren't wood. Only time will tell how they will stand up to a toddler though.
3) The three center drawers seem to move around a bit in their tracks, but I don't think they'll come out.
Also, the bottom of the drawers are a cardboard bottom. I thin piece of particle board would have been better, but if used as a changing table, it likely won't have anything heavy in it anyway.
Lastly, some of the joints on the three drawers are a little worn in the corners, so you can see the particle board color. However, the piece came with a furniture crayon to fill in any areas like this. I haven't used it yet, so can't attest to how well the crayon works.

All in all, very happy with the changing table! It is much nicer than others I have seen online and it stores for the same price or more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Buy!, November 8, 2010

I love this piece of furniture especially since I am going to have 2 little ones in diapers. There is plenty of room in the cabinets for storing diapers, wipes, and whatever else you may need. Also has two drawers in the middle where I store receiving blankets and/or onesies needed for changing. The nice thing about this piece is that it grows with the family...once kiddos are grown and out of diapers, the top piece can be removed and item can be moved and used as piece of furniture in bedroom or living room - wherever you would like! The item is large so you may want to reconsider if you have a small space and although pretty easy to put together, there are lots of pieces - recommend opening and putting together in the room in which you will be using it, if possible. Would definitely recommend this product!
