This headboard was super easy to assemble. It looks exactly like the product pictured - dark chocolate. I've used it now for 6 months and haven't had any problems with it.

Great product for the price, I would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive headboard.

I bought this headboard with the matching bed for myself. From the photo, it appears the headboard should attach to the bed with screws through two wooden strips attached to the inside of the "legs" (which would give it some added stability as well), however, there are just two plastic brackets which attach to the inside of the legs and one screw through each into the bed. Then two screws go through the long front panel into the bed also. So there are only four screws holding it on the bed. This was a disappointment, however, I am satisfied with the headboard. I guess I expect promotional photos of a product to be accurate representations, and there is my only complaint.

Assembly was not difficult at all, and though the instructions call for two people to do the job, I did it alone with no trouble. It had been well over thirty years since I had assembled any kind of furniture, so the hardware was strange to me, but it does the job well if you follow the instructions carefully. All-in-all, it took me about an hour to assemble. I am paraplegic, did the job sitting in my wheelchair, so it should be quite easy for any able-bodied adult to assemble.

The headboard has ample space for clock and radio, as well as a few books and other things, and it looks nice once attached to the bed and put in place. Highly recommended by me.

This bookcase headboard was easy to put together and it is perfect for me. Matches my other bedroom furniture nicely. Great for storing my book and holding a small lamp. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Product arrived in a timely manner. It is easily put together and all the pieces came in great shape. The only problem I had with this is that there are no holes to mount the headboard to the bed. I just pushed it up against the wall firmly and left it like that., but it will pose a problem for those who want the bed to be freestanding from a wall.

It came to me with some cracks on one board and with a piece already broken in half. The instructions were barely adequate but not impossible. It's not a bad headboard but I do not recommend it.

Arrived on time and a good product, but was a little messy with the assembling. Make sure not to tighten the screws so much as it might crack the board. Otherwise its nice and sleek.

Now mind you I understand this is not a $500 bed, but this is pure crap. The bed is that sawdust type material. It does not ship well. I can guarantee that you will have some damage. For an extra $50 I could have gotten a solid wood bed.headboard at a local furniture store and had it delivered.

I bought this headboard along with the bed at the exact same time, it was all on the same order. CSN Stores sent me a confirmation email showing both items would arrive on May 26. Neither item arrived on the 26th. The bed and headboard didn't even arrive on the same day. I emailed them and got a response back after receiving the bed but no headboard that the items had been shipped on separate days. So my headboard wasn't arriving till the following week. For 6 days I had to deal with sleeping in an incomplete bed. It's frustrating waking up with your pillow on the floor every morning. I made it very clear in all my emails that I was very dissatisfied with how everything turned out. I had hired someone to put the bed together, assuming per the confirmation email that both items would arrive the same time, and I was forced to pay this person twice. I even asked for a partial refund. I asked for 10% so I could recover my losses in regards to assembly. They completely ignored that request. Every email they sent in response to mine were very generic, there was no personalization and it was just a very frustrating experience. I love the bed and headboard now that I have them both. But I will never do business with this company again. Orders should always be shipped complete and all at once unless the customer approves a partial shipment. Especially in cases where the company you purchase from tells you they'll ship together and arrive together. That's been the policy at every company I've ever worked for or with, until this company, so that the customer is satisfied and actually able to fully use their product(s).
