Profiled molding adorns the perimeter of bookcase’s top, while a vertical wood panel effect on the unit’s back board adds further sophistication. Likewise, a rounded apron stretches under the fixed bottom shelf between the bookcase’s end panels. Best suited for contemporary and transitional interiors, the bookcase offers two adjustable shelves and two fixed shelves for variations on shelf height.

The Environmentally Preferred Product (EPP) certified bookcase is crafted out of engineered wood and recycled fiber, with a luscious cherry finish. The two end panels lie flush on the floor surface for stability. To clean, wipe the shelves with a damp cloth. Avoid ammonia-based cleaning products which cause damage to the finish. A matching hutch unit and desk are also available for separate purchase. The bookcase requires home assembly. Upon online registration, a limited five-year warranty covers this item. The assembled bookcase measures 32 inches wide by 13 inches deep by 58 inches high and weighs 65 pounds.

While I did not think this item would be solid Cherry, I had hoped at this price it would be, at least, Cherry veneer. It is press board just like most at Walmart. I think I got took at this price. I learned to really read carefully before I order anything.

This is a wonderful bookshelf. It is a reasonable price and a little better made then the cheap shelves you can buy at Target/Walmart etc. I bought it to go in my newborns nursery and it just really pulled the room together. The shelf helps me to organize various items and will be used to grow with my child as I place more age related books on it!
