This attractive corner desk from South Shore’s Prairie Collection, with its three-sectioned body and hutch, affords ample surface and storage space for the home office. With the mid-section’s rollout keyboard shelf and open hutch window, the desk design accommodates a computer with up to a 21-inch monitor. The open hutch permits discrete cable passage to an electrical outlet, or other computer accessories like a workstation tower, printer, or speaker set. Store these extra computer components next to the hutch of either desk’s side section, or on the fixed shelf below of each section’s tabletop. File boxes, notebooks, and large books also find a home on these shelves. For smaller books or displaying framed photographs, one of the hutch’s side segments offers two adjustable shelves to create three compartments. The other section hosts a black 18-CD rack between two tall cubicles of identical size. Two short horizontal shelves sandwich these three vertical partitions while housing office essentials like a stapler, calculator, hole punch, tape dispenser, and USB cables or flash drives.
The Environmentally Preferred Product (EPP) certified corner desk is crafted out of engineered wood and recycled fiber, with a warm country pine finish. The 22-by-15-inch keyboard shelf rolls out on patented metal slide tracks with safety stops to prevent overextension of the shelf. I just got this desk yesterday and I have to say, I'm very impressed with it.
After only seeing one review for this product, I was a little wary about purchasing something like this online. However, I've always had good experiences with Amazon so I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. One great part this product is that it's eligible for Free Super Saver Shipping. That really helped, though it took a couple of weeks for my desk to finally get here. Please keep in mind that this desk is HUGE. Also, I was under the impression that I would be getting one parcel, but in fact this desk comes in two separate boxes. The delivery man had to struggle to get these in the door because they were so heavy. The desk took me around three hours to assemble. I'm a girl and I worked by myself on it, so maybe it will give you an indication on how easy it is to put together. The instructions were very clear and if you follow all the steps you can have it up in no time. The time consuming part was that there were so many pieces (not to mention steps) but believe me, it's worth it. As for the end product itself, it looks amazing when you set it up. It looks EXACTLY like it does in the preview images here. Sometimes you see something online and it doesn't turn out to be what you imagined. This is exactly what you would expect. It's not flimsy junk, either. The desk feels very sturdy and comes with a built-in drawer for your computer keyboard, and even comes with a built-in CD rack. The desk is beautiful, and really saves space. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with any drawers for storage, but that wasn't a particulary important feature for me. I think it's definitely worth the money. Great purchase!

Definitely serves its purpose,
I built this on my own as I had put a few of these together by myself in the past. None had as many parts as this...I don't think my back has forgiven me yet :o) The two main construction issues I came across were (i) the cd racks were too small - I contacted the company and they sent me free replacements in a very timely fashion, and (ii) the holes for the metal plates were too small and not in line - I ended up having to use a drill to start the screws entries in then finish manually with a standard tool.
I am very pleased with the end result. It is very, very, very user and storage friendly. I am truly a happy camper.

It was very nice to get shipped straight to our house.
It comes in 2 very heavy boxes with Lots of pieces to put togeter. It took 2 of us to put it together - one to just get the parts and keep them straight. It took about 3 hours to put it together. Finished product is very nice with lots of space. I do wish it had some drawers though. All in all - very nice product
