I just got this desk yesterday and I have to say, I'm very impressed with it.

After only seeing one review for this product, I was a little wary about purchasing something like this online. However, I've always had good experiences with Amazon so I decided to go ahead and give it a shot. One great part this product is that it's eligible for Free Super Saver Shipping. That really helped, though it took a couple of weeks for my desk to finally get here.

Please keep in mind that this desk is HUGE. Also, I was under the impression that I would be getting one parcel, but in fact this desk comes in two separate boxes. The delivery man had to struggle to get these in the door because they were so heavy.

The desk took me around three hours to assemble. I'm a girl and I worked by myself on it, so maybe it will give you an indication on how easy it is to put together. The instructions were very clear and if you follow all the steps you can have it up in no time. The time consuming part was that there were so many pieces (not to mention steps) but believe me, it's worth it.

As for the end product itself, it looks amazing when you set it up. It looks EXACTLY like it does in the preview images here. Sometimes you see something online and it doesn't turn out to be what you imagined. This is exactly what you would expect. It's not flimsy junk, either. The desk feels very sturdy and comes with a built-in drawer for your computer keyboard, and even comes with a built-in CD rack. The desk is beautiful, and really saves space. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with any drawers for storage, but that wasn't a particulary important feature for me.

I think it's definitely worth the money. Great purchase!

I built this on my own as I had put a few of these together by myself in the past. None had as many parts as this...I don't think my back has forgiven me yet :o) The two main construction issues I came across were (i) the cd racks were too small - I contacted the company and they sent me free replacements in a very timely fashion, and (ii) the holes for the metal plates were too small and not in line - I ended up having to use a drill to start the screws entries in then finish manually with a standard tool.

I am very pleased with the end result. It is very, very, very user and storage friendly. I am truly a happy camper.

It was very nice to get shipped straight to our house.
It comes in 2 very heavy boxes with Lots of pieces to put togeter.
It took 2 of us to put it together - one to just get the parts and keep them straight.
It took about 3 hours to put it together.
Finished product is very nice with lots of space.
I do wish it had some drawers though.
All in all - very nice product

I ordered this desk in July. After a few days I received a backorder email. No problem, these thing happen.. However as I write this 'review' it is Nov 23rd, I still do not have the desk, and I just received another delay email. You look on the description it says they ship in 3-5 days. Don't believe it..

I think they are hoping I'll cancel my order so they don't have to sell it at the price stated. Notice that other sellers list the same item much higher. NOT A CHANCE AMAZON! I'll keep on 'approving' the changes for the next year if I have to..

Amazon does not even have this desk, DO NOT ORDER IT. It is backordered and besides for failing to contact me, they still will not respond to my communication.

This desk was a little larger than expected, but sturdy. My high schooler uses it for all of her school work and art work. Has a lot of shelf space. WAY too much assembly and a bit pricey for the work you have to do to assemble.

Just like one other reviewer I am still waiting for this item to ship, it has been canceled once already and I had to reorder it, If it doesn't ship this time I guess ill have to give up and go somewhere else. I hope amazon can ship it this time and stop making me wait.
