The 40 gal Stationary Electric Steam Kettle (KELS-40) is a remarkably efficient and robust electric steam kettle from Southbend. Featuring a 40 gallon capacity, this kettle has plenty of room for cooking and is expertly manufactured using incredibly durable and corrosion-resistant stainless steel. It sits on stout, tubular legs made from stainless steel with adjustable feet which can be secured to the floor. The interior of the double-wall kettle jacket is filled with distilled water and sealed by the factory to prevent any possible contamination. Additionally, the 18 kW heating elements will allow the kettle to cook up to 290°F at a maximum pressure of 50 psi.
