Great product. I've been using them for over three years now and they are just absolutely great. They hold solvents/oils just great. I use the 2x2 squares from anything form 45-70, 44WCF, 45 Colt, 44 Colt. I Cut them in half for use in 38 special/357. I've never had an issue with them that's why I keep buying more.

These are the same patches my unit supply command issues us to clean our weapons for range use/inspection/missions. Yes, they leave little strings here and there, but cleaning up after yourself and doing a final wipe-through inside your barrel is not something to cry about...

These patches are weaved, which allows for better removal of carbon and other buildup than that of mops or non-weaved cotton patches. And because it is weaved, i've noticed that it also has more absorbancy than that of other patches.

I give 5-stars for the product itself, and a thumbs-down for the price. I think a great bargain price would be closer to $15 for .223 patches instead of $18+shipping... But that's just my .02 cents.

...is a HAPPY gun! They're a little small ofr my 12gauge, but they clean the heck out of my .40, .45 and .22:)

These patches absorb solvent and oil well. I noticed I have to use one or two fewer patches, to effectively clean a barrel, than the less-absorbent patches I was previously using. The one thing to be aware of, you do have to check each patch for loose strings at the edges. As long as I pull any obvious loose strands, I haven't once left any behind in the barrel. They work well, and are a good value. I'm glad a fellow firearms enthusiast recommended them to me. They also make good firestarters, for a field kit, if you char a small stack of them.

These cleaning patches are the same texture as a good quality tee shirt. They lack the abrasive qualities of HXXXE's Patches (Chiffons de nettoyage), but they are more durable and are superior at hold cleaning solvent and lubrication oils. A must have for keeping your firearms in tip top shape!

Product says the Pro's love this stuff but with the little cotton fibers coming loose all the time, (remember this stuff is made from cut up underwear) and leaving tiny little cotton pieces all over the floor, inside and outside all over my guns ain't a good thing to me.
Maybe they can be used for something but I don't recommend using as gun patches especially when used when used with cleaning fluid or oil as the fluid just makes it order to pick up all those little almost microscopic pieces of cotton.

It seems that I'm always cleaning one gun or another. These patches really hold the dirt and you can use them to keep scrubbing and scrubbing. Best patches I have used so far

Good deal on cotton patches which seem to clean better than the thin paper type. However, I had trouble with it fitting through my Remington R700 in .308 caliber. I had to fold to triangle shape and cut 1/4" off of each patch before running through. No problems through 7.62x39 and 7.62x54 barrels though. Not sure why that was the issue, since they are all .30 caliber. I'm guessing it is the difference between my cleaning rods as I use different attachments for all 3. However, would purchase again.
