About the Author

Sayonna Martin is a travel and garden writer whose love of gardens has taken her to public and private gardens throughout the U.S., France, Italy, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand. She has written articles for Voyageur Magazine and as a Huntington Garden docent for The Tattler volunteer publication. She is a landscape design consultant and was the recipient of Pasadena's beautification Golden Arrow Award for her own garden.

My wife and I recently purchased Ms. Martin's book and have used it to visit a number of gardens. We found the directions and descriptions to be accurate allowing us to enjoy our various visits. The book itself is easy to open with the spiral notebook feature and a big plus for my wife, the navigator. I hope Ms. Martin will consider a sequel describing Northern California gardens as well. Bravo!

I accidentally, came upon this treasure while browsing in a bookstore. Having known the author in another lifetime, it came as no surprise that her attention to detail and beauty would come across in her descriptions in her book. I hope she writes another book which I look forward to purchasing

I was completely blown away by the perfect condition of the book I have purchased. I had seen it at a gift shop and almost purchased it there. Wow, am I glad I waited because I ended up saving 80% for the same book. Very satisfied and will come back for more. Thanks!!
