This book, I felt, was refreshing! I had to put up with SIX space based books of the First Robotech War, this was mostly ground based with a diffrent spin on the characters; all teenagers(except Angelo Dante, but he was only 23 years old). I liked how imanginitive and creative these young heros were. They lived with 20 years of peace after the SDF-3 left and then had to go to their father's and mother's old business of war. I loved what they did in the end; they just left. They didn't mutiny, abandon their post, quit, or retire; they just quit. Who can blame them.
