Most of the songs on this greatest hits compilation are familiar to any southern gospel fan. But put all of them on one project and I guarantee it won't come out of your CD player any time soon! Though many of these songs are close to a decade old, the message is still as clear and accurate as it was in its own day. Clearly this group paved the way for the more "country" sound with their unforgettable hits like, "Rain and Shine" and "Bend in the River of Life". And Karen's voice rings true with the ultimate classic "God Likes to Work", among many others. She truly has a ministry after the heart of God and a clear soprano voice basically unrivaled in gospel music. This is a wonderful example, as well as a standard, of a great decade of gospel music.

I play this cd every single day at least five times, and have shared it with others who want to have one of their own.

Karen peck has a very pretty voice (unlike many other artists) and is very easy to listen to. I am 21 years old and I first heard about Karen when I was in the Bible Book Store and saw her CD on the shelf. She is a very good singer...and she looks nice too. One of my other favorite singers is Karen Wheaton (she's more powerful than Karen Peck). Karen Wheaton is a 5th generation Penetecostal and her music will really shake you loose.
