For years I have saved copies of Southern Living magazine solely for the great recipes. I love the hardbound version as it is organized and easy to find a recipe favorite!

I'm a cookbook collector who loves to come across good cookbooks. I have over 500 in my collection. The Southern Living Annuals are one of my very favorite! In fact I have just about all of them. As always the Southern Living Annual Recipes 2009 has great recipes. Some of the ones that I can't wait to try are: Brandy Alexander Cheescake, Praline-Apple Bread, Blackberry-Peach Coffee Cake, Grilled Apple Salad,and the Mini Crab Cakes with Garlic-Chive Sauce. These are just a few of the ones that I'm anxious to try. The only down-side to this cookbook is (in my opinion) there's not enough photos of the recipes.

I buy these books every year (since 1979). It is a nasty habit which I know that I won't stop. I always try one or two recipes especially the cakes recipes. I love to look at the photos and enjoy the great cooking tips and ideas. But please be aware once you buy one of these books you are going to be hook and will be getting one every year!

I have collected SL Annual Recipe Books for years...and they always provide a wide variety of recipes with easy directions and easy to find ingredients. I especially enjoy the "best" recipes listed at the front of the book. I value the opinion of the SL staff to point me to the yummiest recipes.

This is a great cookbook! My Mom gives me one every Christmas. Not only are the recipes wonderful, but it reminds me of her everytime I use them. The book was in great condition and arrived sooner than expected. Thank you!

Again, a quality recipe book, full of all kinds of good things. One could go a whole year just preparing the dishes herein. Recommend this series wholeheartedly.

I gave this as a gift to a friend. She was thrilled with it, & immediately started trying out recipes as fast as possible. I plan to keep giving these to her annually as they are published.

This book is great. So many different varieties of recipes--healthy, quickfix, comfort foods, holiday, etc. If you love southern food, this is a good one to add to your collection.
