5.0 out of 5 stars made every recipe--and every recipe was excellent July 30, 2012
By BAW
Format:Paperback
I bake on weekends for the office (Monday treats), and I worked my way through every recipe in this book. Each recipe was very good, and most were excellent. People really enjoyed the cookies at work. Not only were the recipes outstanding, this small book had a range from standards to special, from plain to more elaborate. Loved the book and have recommended it to friends and family.

Baking is my passion. I have found that Southern Living has the best receips for baking and desserts. Never had a bad cookie or cake. Everyone of the receips that I have used comes out wonderful and taste great. The receipes are easy to follow and you never need some off the wall ingredient that you have to either order or search the world for. Eveything you need should be a pantry staple. Even the cheese cakes come out great. I am so excited to start my Christmas baking with my new cookbook.

Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is great book for those making cookies, and at this time of the year, we all get into that mood for the upcoming Holidays. But lots of recipes that we remember and cherish, and some new ones also. A great book to have. But anything that Southern Living publishes, you can count on that being a wonderful book to have and keep!
