I have over 200 cookbooks from all over the world, but this is the best ever! It has so many simple recipes that call for ingredients that you can actually FIND at the store. I have had it about 3 weeks and have tried 9 dishes already. They all turned out GREAT! I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn to cook or experts, or it would be a wonderful gift! The $23 price is well worth it.

This book is outstanding and has many wonderful recipes in it. I especially love the black bottom cheese cake pie. As the other readers have noted, the pictures are great and the recipes are easy to make as you don't have to run all over town to find that speciel ingredient. I would highly recommend this book and would be great for a gift as well.

This cookbook provides delicious recipes for the ones that don't cook and do cook. No mistakes with the sheer easiness of these recipes, even a child could do them with supervision. Simple direction and quick recipes too. The outcome of the dishes is heaven and tongue tantalizing. Get this book and you will be sure to have a meal for any occassion, or just for your pleasure only. Show off with the recipes in this book and act like you put your blood, sweat and tears into it. It will make you the toast of the party or dinner etc. Thanks for this cookboook and all the flavorful recipes yet to be cooked and baked!

I got an offer from Southern Living to buy this cookbook for $30+. I was interested in the book, but I found it here barely used for a much better deal. This is the way to go on cookbooks!

This is a great cookbook. It has so many wonderful things in it to try. It is great quiality with lots of pictures.

Southern Living's Homestyle Cookbook

What makes this book so usable is that it does not send you to ethnic markets to find ingredients. The recipes seem to be uniformly tasty. It truly lives up to its title, Homestyle Cookbook.

This has a lot of really great recipes. I want to start at the beginning and try them all.

This is truly a hit. It is filled with so many good recipes. I have tried many and haven't had any complaints. The dessert recipes are out of this world.

As usual, Southern Living has created a wonderful cookbook. I love the pictures that are displayed and gives you wonderful, creative imaginings of things you can either add or take away. I love the book.
