This review is from: The Court of Ardor in Southern Middle Earth (MERP/Middle Earth Role Playing) (Fantasy Role-playing Book) (Paperback)
To me, it's by far the best Lord of The Rings role-playing book ever edited by ICE. It describes a cosmic plot in the Utter South of Middle Earth and everything is astonishing, from the beginning to the end: the story starts in the First Age and develops until 1.700 Third Age +-, so it provides a great variety of backgrounds to play. Characters and locations are original and well-designed, with enough info to play and enough room to make your own stories up. Some could say they are too powerful but, otherwise, how could you call it "cosmic plot"? :)In a word: unique. |
