4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Suprise, December 1, 2009
This review is from: Southern Tracks & Fantasies (Audio CD)
Most of the songs and albums available from Paul Davis have been either greates hits or the two releases available from Japan. To finally have all of his music released is a dream come true and to have the ability to hear all of the songs that aren't normally inclued in the aforementioned release is simply a Joy. Of those new releases this is one of the top three with Medicine Woman being my personal favorite. The mixture of music on this and other release is truly amazing as Mr. Davis jumps from one style to the next as if an aritist in conflict with himself. I sorely miss Mr. Davis and would love to hear the songs he was working on when he passed away. He is one of the singers that influence me and moved me to learn to sing and play music. He is one of teh most underated singer.songwriters to come out of the 70's and 80's. His name should be up there with James Taylor and Dan Fogelberg. We all miss you and long live the music of Paul Davis.
