2.0 out of 5 stars Not funny north or south of the Mason-Dixon line!, July 7, 2008
By
This review is from: Southerner's Book of Lists, The (Paperback)
Honestly, I came across this book in the "humor" section of a mega book store. It is a very half-hearted attempt at down-home sincerity in order to make the south appear to be the most special of all places. Well, indeed, it is. But not from anything I got from this book.

Southerners are to "be leery of ANYBODY hailing from north of the Mason-Dixon Line. Southerners "don't play if you can piddle... Don't walk if you can mosey."

Hmmm. OK, but not witty, wise, funny or an interesting read. Just kinda lame -- but in a sweet, down-home way.
