4.0 out of 5 stars something for everyone
Joey Mac has a different sound and you will love it. What a great album, something for everyone, little irish music, a little rap, a little everything. Made me want to see the movie again

3.0 out of 5 stars Track 1: Remember Me
I bought this soundtrack for Joey McIntyre's song Remember Me. I haven't heard the remainder of the soundtrack so my rating is just based on the song itself.

It was released in 1999 but this track sounds nothing like his Stay The Same album released that same year. It has more Meet Joe Mac sound which I personally favoured out of those two albums.

If you are a Joey or even an NKOTB fan, this track is worth getting for your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great album even if you haven't seen the film, August 6, 1999

This review is from: Southie (OST) (Audio CD)
I bought this a few days ago on import and I already LOVE it. Joe McIntyre's song is better than anything on his solo album, and the rest of the songs are even better! The mix between styles definitely works, and can easily jump from indie to rap without sounding dodgy. I would rate this soundtrack up among the likes of Pulp Fiction, as it is able to stand on its own without the film itself, and will probably stand the test of time.

The song "Cool Out" by The Hazies ROCKS!!! The rest of the soundtrack is really cool too! I think anyone should pick up this soundtrack if not for the new Hazies single alone!! 5 stars BABY!!!
