Southpole Junior's Super Stretch Jeggings

I am always skeptical about buying jeans or clothing online unless I know my exact size in that specific style and brand. However for 20 dollars and jeggings at that (yea I've always wanted a pair) I thought what the heck? It's an Amazon Prime deal too so if it doesn't fit I can ship it back. I am a size 6 in women's and a size 7 in juniors. I ordered the medium in the dark grey, and they were just a little loose on the waist area but fit perfectly everywhere else. The two best parts of these jeans were:

1. The length. Most leggings or stretch jeans have a short inseam and I have long legs. These left me with a little extra fabric so that if I wanted to wear heels or they shrank it wouldn't be above my ankles.

2. I love the elastic waist band. Usually I'd be wary of the elastic waistband (think flashbacks to grandpa's fake light blue 'jean' material pants) but I loved how flat they were without the button and zipper. This allowed me to wear tighter and longer shirts without having the bulge in the fabric where the zipper and button usually go.

Now I've had them for about a week and wore them twice then washed them. While they only shrank a little I noticed that there were fine pickings or snags on the jeans. It made them look cheaper than I would have liked. I have a little sweater shaver though and took about 15 minutes to clear out all the snags, and they looked like when I bought them. If you're looking for cheap jeggings then these are great, if you're looking for something with more... wear ability and class, then check out BCBG's Jeggings or Jessica Simpsons both look nice and more expensive on. These are perfect for me for wearing under UGGs and with a long shirt or sweater; I just ordered the darker wash in a different style.

EDITED: After having them for about a month and washing them three times those snags grew worse, so bad that I ended up giving them away to goodwill, I purchased Huges women's jeggings, and those seem to hold up better during the washings and are made with more stretchy material.

These pants proved to be a great purchase for me. I was looking for thick leggings to wear with long t-shirts. Well, for the purpose they are perfect - they look like skinny pants (with the back pockets and stuff).
The sizing proved to be true for me. However, I always leave some "space" when choosing a size.
The only complaint about these leggings is the threads - they stick out of side seams and you have to deal with them (well, made in China after all :)).

These run small, so consider ordering the next size up. I ordered my usual size and these fit so tight they looked horrible. Not flattering. Still, the gray mineral was a nice finish and if they'd fit, probably a good look. I may order again in the next size up, as, like many here, I like the thicker fabric better than a lot of these very soft jegging fabrics. These are like thin jeans and look fabulous with tall boots.

Look hot but these jeans in this color run way smaller than the same size in the same brand in a different style jeans I've purchased before. Still like them but was very disappointed that they are significantly tighter than my other pair.

The good news is, the Medium Grey super stretch jeggings fit true to size. The bad news is they have an unpleasant "burnt" smell right out of the box--and I suspect it's a "forever smell". Specifically, when I machine washed and dried these jeggings for the first time with other clothes, all of my other clothes caught the smell of burning/hot rubber and had to be re-washed by themselves. I suspect the culprit is some component of the dye(s) used in the pants, so it not likely to ever fully wash out. Also, the material is strangely stiff--again, probably due to the wash. I'm ready to throw them out because the gross smell overwhelms the flattering fit. Be aware that some of the other non-blue colors/washes may have the same kind of dye odor.

Here's my recommendation for an alternative to Southpole jeggings: consider looking at the amazon listing for "HUE Solid Skinny Jeggings". They are $34 and I have 2 pairs of the Indigo (blue) denim color now because they fit wonderfully and comfortably (when you order 1 size UP), are odorless, wash easily, and the dye does not come out with washing or regular use (white couches are safe!).

These jeans are great. I'm short, and round and they make me tall and skinny. There you go.

EDIT: The sizes varies from the different colors. The plain denim (black/blue) actually stretch more, are more true to size than the black/blue storm leggings. It's like they are two totally different jeggings.

The quality of these pants are really like jeans, instead of the regular leggings. They don't stretch much like stated. I ordered these in my size, and they are VERY tight. I expected them to be smaller, but have more of a stretch to them. I know I will have to break these in before I wear them out of the house. The seller shipped these really quickly, and I am happy with my transaction otherwise. Try to buy a size bigger if you plan on buying these.

This jeggings are perfect in all aspects. But only the dawn colour! The grey jeggings are horrible. But this , dawn colour are perfect. I'm not a junior size and I normally wear the 12 size. I've chosed XXL and it fits great. The only thing I was wrong with is that I bought only 1 item of this size and colour. Please make XXL Dawn available again. I'll buy several of them. Thanks a lot!

My daughter loves these pants.She and her twin sister got the black ones and the blue ones.I think they would get more colors of them if they found them.

They fit was good but a little loose which made the really comfortable...the second time I wore them the fabric tore completly!...very poor quality...not worth it
