I bought it the day after it came out and it is well worth it, the songs are excellent!

Another shift from their last album for Ant & Slug, and yet another great album.

I've been in musical love with these guys for a while now, so this was much anticipated and well worth the wait. If I had to pick a favorite track, it would be "Flicker". But really, all the tracks are amazing.

This album sounded hokey at first. I really thought that Atmosphere fell off. Until, I buckled and bought it. IT grows on you. Very good production. Flicker is sentimental. Rap often lacks any sentimentality.

Southsiders is a good album, but not the best that I have heard from Atmosphere. Slug seems to be stuck on one rhyme pattern on every song. He is a good emcee and can paint a nice picture, but sometimes he can be boring as well. Good beats and the album flows well. Not one for me to put on repeat.

Lyrics are weak, sounds like Slug either didn't write them or didn't give a sh*t. Sucks because I love all of Slug's older stuff. Beats are awesome though, shoutout to Ant.

Better than their previous effort, this is Atmosphere doing what they do best. Slug writes incredibly well, and it is his style that flows through on top of the production here. It's on par with "When Life Gives You Lemons" in terms of subject and introspection. The flow delivers bitterness, despair, love, and so much more. It's the kind of rapping that makes Slug one of the greatest in the game when it comes to sharing his life through hip hop. I love it, you'll love it, what are you waiting for?
