Southworth Exceptional Thesis Paper, 100% Cotton, 20lb, White, 250 Sheets (35-120-10)

I saw the previous feedback from a customer stating this product was not as described ('Fraud alert') after placing my order. I had ordered 3 boxes of 'exceptional thesis paper'. When the boxes arrived, I thoroughly checked each box to make sure the paper was what I had ordered (I randomly took out sheets within the reams). All the paper was as described under product description (it was not copy paper) and all boxes contained only paper embedded with the Southworth watermark within the sheets stating they are 100% cotton.

I love the feel of 100% cotton paper...it truly does feel far more professional than the alternative. From what I understand, cotton paper is supposed to stand the test of time for roughly 1-year for every 1% of cotton...thus, since it's 100% it should theoretically last 100-years (I won't be around to verify that but I'll take everyone else's word for it).

Anyway, as a purchasing tip, remember that this box only has 250 sheets in it.

I point this out because I realized after the fact that there is a 500-sheet box of Southworth paper with *identical* specifications (e.g., 100% cotton, 100% recycled, watermarked, 20-lb., woven/smooth texture, etc.) and you may end up saving money in the long run. The alternative I'm referring to is Southworth "Legal Document Paper - 33C".

Regardless, this is first-rate paper and highly recommended (I can't imagine what the other negative reviews are even remotely referring to).

The paper in this sealed package, sold by Amazon, was not as advertized. The paper in the box was plain copy paper. It was not 100% cotton, and it was not watermarked. I have been a Southworth user for years, and this was obviously not Southworth paper despite the Southworth packaging (all Southworth cotton paper is watermarked with their brandname).

Hello comrades! I buy for university thesis this "exceptional thesis paper" because 100% of cotton paper is required by university for printing. I print and send thesis to dean of school and he replies to me and says "Misha, why are you turning in thesis with word 'Southworth' engraved everywhere! You have shamed your countrymen!" Sure enough I did not review paper to see watermark and this fails me. I do not graduate on time and watermark forces me to leave university and pursue career of woodworking...

And though I am making great amazing wood carvings and furniture, I regret fact that American company cannot make simple 100% cotton paper that does not have watermark. Maybe Mr. Southworth sits in office and says "We have made glorious paper for greater glory of Russia! But maybe I add name to every page to ensure that I take this triumph from my countrymen and keep all credit for me!" Mr. Southworth then takes big stamp and ruins paper with name.

I do not write thesis for Mr. Southworth and he does not write thesis, I write thesis myself and submit for patriotic duty of learning. So why is "thesis paper" marked in such manner that ruins thesis?
