About the Author

An alumnus of Temple University with a background in computer information technology and real estate, Nnamdi Godson Osuagwu first emerged onto the literary scene in 2007 with his well received book of poetry, Ice Cream Melts. This heartfelt and thought provoking collection features poems dealing with the universal experience of having high points in life turn into low points and the processes of these transitions. In addition to Ice Cream Melts and Nnamdi’s latest project, A Souvenir For My Mom, he is the CEO of Ice Cream Melts, LLC, a publishing and production company, through which he’s released both of his books. Nnamdi is currently busy working on his third book, dealing with social addictions, and his own social networking project, Global Boredom, a website that helps people in the fight against “Boredom” all over the world by connecting them with events and event planners in their area.

A first hand account from author Nnamdi Godson Osuagwu as he like so many others head to Washington DC to be apart of history as Barack Obama becomes the first African American President.

Mr. Osuagwu does a great job capturing in pictures as well as in print the energy and excitement of a variety of people who were happy to share their thoughts, comments, and out look for the future under our new President.

I was unable to be there but through this vivid book I was able to capture the essence of what it was like at this special Inauguration that is now a part of history.

Kudos to Mr. Osuagwu for sharing his experience with us!

The accounts depicted in this book are as genuine as they come. It is this type of authenticity that keeps the reader going. Great job!
