Do not take DANTES Rise and Fall of The Soviet Union unless you absolutely have to as it is a really hard DANTES test. If you have not already taken some of the easier DANTES tests then buy DSST Success read it and then take Ethics in America and then Introduction to Business and then go from there. This review by Jack Rudman is decent but it does not cover the material on the actual DANTES test word for word.

This review is from: DSST Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union (DANTES series) (Dantes Subject Standardized Tests Passbooks) (Plastic Comb)
I used this book after I had already studied extensively using Instacert and "The Soviet Colossus." Almost none of the exam questions in this book were on the actual exam. The exam itself went more in-depth than this study guide. This book by the way does not teach you anything per se, it's just a collection of numerous 40 question quizes. If you didn't already study this subject this booklet probably wouldn't do you any good. I would stick to the texts recommended by DSST on their web site.
