The other reviewers have already mentioned the benefits listed on the bottle. It also mentions that it purifies water. This is one claim I actually believe, because the list of ingredients includes iodine which is used to help purify water.

This stuff tastes absolutely awful. It's a taste that can only really be described as salt water and heavy pool chemicals. But I can handle the taste if the product works. It doesn't, unless you count the shock of putting this rancid stuff on your tongue as an "energy boost". After two servings administered one immediately after the other, I feel absolutely no different.

So it could very well be that my body just doesn't feel the benefits of "liquid oxygen". But the cynic in me says that this is nothing more than a placebo in a bottle, sold at outrageous prices to people who are looking for the next health fad. He also says that if this was such a great way to get an energy boost, it would be incorporated into more big-company products by now, such as in the energy drink market. You think Coca-Cola can't afford to hire chemists smart enough to make whatever is in this bottle?

The cynic in me also wonders why, if your body supposedly needs more oxygen, you would need to spend this kind of money (almost $18 an ounce?!) to get it in a nasty tasting liquid when you could get additional oxygen to your body by taking a few deep breaths -- remember oxygen? IT'S IN OUR AIR. Breathing it would get it into the bloodstream faster (and likely in higher quantities) than taking it in liquid form anyway.

--EDIT-- Going back and looking at a 5-star review here, I have to wonder if I'm on to something.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I tried this product for two weeks now and have noticed no effects (positive or negative). I've tried it in the morning, middle of the day, later in the evening, with water, straight (tough to do as it tastes horrible) and I feel nothing. The first time I tried it I thought I was getting a burst on energy but whatever it was only lasted about 5 minutes before it wore off. I am thinking its more of a placebo effect. The times I have taken this when I truly wanted some extra energy, I got no such feeling. So either this is just a hoax in a bottle or my system just doesn't react to it.

The good news is that even with the horrible taste when taken straight, it is tasteless in water so it is not bad to drink. And with small doses of iodine, it does help purify the water a bit...something my tap water definitely needs....just not at this price!

I've tried just about every energy drink out there and most give you a headache when the effects wear off. With this product, you dont get the headache but you also don't get the energy boost! For me, when I need that extra energy, a cup of coffee still does the trick. Or in extreme cases, I will turn to a "probably less than healthy" 5 hour energy type drink. They seem to kick me into high gear without that dreaded headache. Just don't know what the side effects will be with those!

இ Fuzzy Wuzzy's Summary:
Ѿ Avoid this product! This product gives me ice cold pricklies.

► The facts:

Suspended in this salty foul-tasting liquid are tiny insignificant amounts of the following: sodium and chloride (also known as common table salt), chromium, iodine, magnesium, potassium... along with trace amounts of carbon, calcium, iron, phosphorus, selenium, and zinc. Except for the iodine and the sodium chloride (which you do not need anyway since so many processed foods are already overloaded with salt), you can get these nutrients from your average everyday multi-vitamin or, better yet, from eating even a modicum of daily vegetables (especially the really healthy cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, kale, cauliflower, cabbage) or a spinach salad.

► The fiction:

On the o2spabar Web site, they promote this magical uber-liquid to help with "Stress and Anxiety", "Health", "Fitness", helps you to "Look Great", "Strengthen Bones", "Increase Muscle Mass". They also say that it helps fight: Insomnia, Headaches, Migraines, Jet lag, Fatigue, Hangovers, Colds and Flu, Acne, Viral infections, Asthma, Immune system, Quitting smoking, Water purification, Skin rejuvenation, Weight loss, Endurance, Energy, Stamina, Healing, Mental Alertness, Overall Health, Fresher Looking Skin. BZZZZT!!! Wrong! This extends way into the realm of unproven snake-oil false advertising and unethical deception. I am actually surprised that they did not include "Increases Libido", "Cures Erectile Dysfunction", "Grows Hair On Balding Men", "Makes Women Sexy", "Fixes The National Debt", and "Creates World Peace" in their claims too.

This is supposed to be liquid oxygen. Good for jet lag and hangovers. It contains salts and upset my stomach when I take it. I really don't feel any different when I take it, so I am probably not going to be buying any of it. I tried it under my tongue and in water. Very salty under the tongue and a slightly salty taste in a glass of water.

Looks like a placebo effect if anything.
