Warm Use: Microwave in one minute intervals until optimal temperature is achieved. Test temperature before using. It should feel warm, not hot. Cold Use: Place in sealed plastic bag and leave in freezer for at least 4 hours. Wrap may be left in freezer indefinitely until ready to use. I actually got this for my dog. However, I was really cold the first night I got it and decided to use it myself. It is really soft and the material is nice. I also washed the outer covering before using and it washed well. My dog uses it now and seems to really like it as well. She's a small chihuahua and gets really cold at night. The only thing is that it smells really strong of some kind of aromatherapy. I'm really sensitive to smells myself, so I'm not sure if this would bother other people. Also, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be heated with the packet in the cover or if it's supposed to be removed, heated, and reinserted. The directions did not specify.
