Was very skeptical about ordering this product because on this website there are very few reviews, however on walmart.com there are over 1k reviews. So we decided to try it. We were getting rid of a sealy posturepedic mattress and purchasing the 8in queen. Now, I don't know if things have changed (meaning the product changing) since before, but I had absolutely no odor. I will tell you that upon purchasing I left in my car overnight before my Husband could bring it in (temperatures are below freezing here at night). Once we brought it in, we set it up on Premiere Metal Bed Frame(no box spring necessary) and this has been a great fit for us. This mattress is similar (albeit not as luxurious) as the one we sleep on when we stay at the Marriott. This mattress far exceeded our expectations. I have seen that some other people note weight being the difference with foam mattresses. Well, I am 130lbs 5ft 3in and my Husband is 260lbs and 6ft. Both of us feel like this is a great mattress. Has already helped with my joint problems after only a few day.
**update** after purchasing in January and it now being August I am noticing that my Husbands side of the bed is not as firm as mine which is very frustrating being that we take very good care of our mattress and have only owned it a short period of time. It may be going back before the warranty is up. Which is sad since I really do love ruthe feel of this mattress.

If you are reading this review then you are no doubt in the market to purchase a cheap spare mattress or replacement. I am writing this to tell you that this mattress is worth picking up. Although at the time of this writing there are only nine other reviews on Amazon, at Walmart's website there are over 1,000.

My wife and I had been sleeping on a luxury waterbed for about three years when her back began to hurt her. I did not want to spend a crazy amount of money on a new mattress and boxspring or Tempurpedic bed, so I began looking for cheap alternatives online. That was when I came across the Spa Sensations 8" memory foam mattress. Now, I know what you are thinking. "Who would buy a mattress without testing it first?" I thought the same thing. But, after doing some research I decided to gamble on it. I figured that if I purchased the mattress and it was comfortable, then that's a win. If I purchased it and it sucked, well, I wouldn't be out thousands of dollars, only a couple of hundred.

So for ~$250 after shipping I purchased the queen 8" mattress. It arrived days sooner than anticipated, nicely vacuum-sealed, rolled up, and boxed. After I rolled it out onto the bed frame, I cut the plastic surrounding the mattress and it immediately began to inflate. I would estimate that it took about two hours to reach a height of 7", and was fully inflated after four hours. There was a very slight chemical smell, but unless you remained nose down on the mattress it was perfectly tolerable and dissipated in a few hours. Seriously. I opened a window in the same room and I couldn't even notice it.

After sleeping on this mattress for two evenings now, there are a few things that are apparent. First, it is very comfortable.

I bought this mattress only 1 year ago and it's already super saggy in areas and the foam has started to give way. It was very comfortable for the first few months but it has not proven to be durable.

I like to do a lot of research before I purchase something online, and buying a mattress was definitely no exception. I looked at this product on the Walmart website (which has a lot more reviews if you'd like to know more about people's varying opinions on it - I definitely did) and found that, while some people claimed they had problems with it rising to full height or being too smelly or too firm or too soft, most said it was a great mattress - even if you don't take into account that it's dirt cheap as far as most memory foam mattresses go.

I've had the mattress for about a week now, and here's my experience with it:

I'm a relatively small-to-average sized girl (21 years old, 130 pounds, 5'3") and I was able to get the 60(?) pound package into my boyfriend's room, which luckily is very close to the front door, on my own without any trouble. I did have a bit of a tough time getting it out of the plastic packaging it comes in, but it wasn't impossible.

Once I had it all laid out and unfolded it rose rapidly, and I didn't notice any of the chemical smell some people talk about unless I buried my face in it (most of the reviews I read agreed that the smell wasn't strong - maybe it's a hit-and-miss kind of thing, or maybe it's just people with sensitive olfactory capabilities who complain of the smell). As for rising to full height, the package arrived around one o'clock I think, and it was probably 6" by the time my boyfriend got home from work at five. I was a little afraid that since we both couldn't resist laying on it right away it might not get to full height, but it was 8" by bedtime. Some people say it can take up to a few days; again, I think it must just be luck of the draw.
