I bought this bag to protect against moths and other critters. I have two varsity jackets and I didn't want holes in them. I have sadly lost a few wool garments to moths. I didn't want the same fate to happen with my jackets. I was advised to buy a cedar chest. However, I cannot afford it so I decided to give this a try. So far it works well, I threw a few cedar blocks in the garment bag and vacuumed the air out.

At first I thought I was taken because the air kept escaping until I realized you have make sure all the caps on the valve and hanger are tight. Make sure the hanger is screwed on tight and there should be no problem. It's been almost a month and the garment bag is still vacuumed tight hanging In My closet.

The garment bag material is not thick as other space bags so be careful and gentle and only use plastic hangers as advised.

I am still going to invest in a cedar chest but this space bag will hold me over until than. This is my first try with any of space bag products. Now I am going to give the rest a try. Excellent product and easy to use

I'm a knitter, and I have a HUGE amount of yarn and fiber. I used one of these bags and packed a 3'x3' box of yarn skeins into it, vacuumed it flat, and hung it in my closet. My yarn "stash" is now easily browsable, and kept clean and dry (and moth-free!). I love it! I plan on getting several more.

The hanging suit storage bag worked just as advertised. I stored one suit and one tuxedo in it easily. Just handle them with care as the plastic material is fairly easy to puncture or tear (we discovered this previously with a different type vacuum bag).

I stored about 5 different types of jackets in this bag and hung it up. The handle to hang on the closet bar is plastic and it snapped right in two from the weight although it wasn't full. Don't waste your money. A cheap garment bag with a metal hook is better.

I am very happy with this product. It did exactly what it said it would do. At first thought my vacuum would not fit correctly but even without a perfect seal it worked like a charm.
Highly recommend if you have clothes you want to save but don't have the room.

If you are like me, you are probably looking for a solution to organize your limited closet space. Well, keep looking because this is the biggest ripoff yet. I bought two of these and within ONE day of using them, the hook broke on one of them and the air came out of both of them, despite following the directions carefully and accurately.

This is a really great product. It is amazing how much I can fit into this thing and then flatten it to a tenth of its original size.

However...

Be kind to the bag and its components; mess with it too much or if you're rough it will stop working. I was a bit harsh with the suction hole on one of the bags and now it no longer works.

Well, I love the idea of these, but so far they are not working out so great. One of the bags ripped, and the other did not hold it's seal, so it's basically an overpriced garmet bag....will give it one more try...

It said that it holds 6-10 garments and they should not be greater than 20 lbs. Let me tell you I had 2 bags both weighed less than 20 lbs one had 6 spring pant suits and the other had 4 wool suits.

Next morning the suits were on the floor, the bags were now inflated and the hook was still on the bar! They need to redesign this product. Avoid this product unless you plan to one bag per suit!

Saved me a lot of space in my wardrobe and contrary to other reviews my Space Bags arrived in one piece and are still holding strong, no air leakage at all.
