Excellent Debut - Better with every listen,

IB have done a superb job of bringing their style into play with their influences. The production of the CD is brilliant and their use of instrumentation is right on the money. If you like Tangerine Dream, you'll love this; there are dozens of references and shadows of all phases of TD in here. Every time I listen, I hear more and more and love it more and more. And most importantly imo, it approaches emusic from a composition style, leaving behind the simple ambient and repetative sequencer based tracks which litter the genre, and lead today's vanguard of interesting, thoughtful and all together enjoyable emusic. Very well done, gentlemen!

Superb inventive electronica with wonderful complex arrangements,

Inquisitor Betrayer's album is a superb debut, and if asked to choose a desert island top ten right now, this would be the first one on my list. It's that good in my opinion. It's an album full of invention, creativity, emotion, power, subtlety, and wonderful detail and complex arrangements. You can tell a lot of hard work has gone into making it. It's multi-layered, with many great sounds and effects, such as a powerful mechanical hammer striking metal, used brilliantly, as part of the rythmic beat in Sea of Fire. There are ticking clocks, violins, voices, horns, guitars, and even a little banjo on the last track, Eternal Light, and so much more besides. This is a beautifully crafted album, and nothing is out of place. If you like your sequencer music, you'll love tracks like Ascension, which also has lovely Mellotron sounds, and deep moody synth pads....fantastic !! Then there's the epic 15 minute Garden of Shadows, which is absolutely amazing. The sequencers are used to such wonderful effect in this track, you just have to check it out. This for me is a quite outstanding album from start to finish, and seems to get stronger and stronger as it progresses. There isn't a weak track on here, and i can't recommend it highly enough. Every self respecting EM fan should have it in their collection.
